I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in communication and learned theories that pertain to how people exchange messages in various social climates, be it personal or professional. After college, I joined the U.S. Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist, which is a career path that combines photojournalism, videography, and graphic design. This occupation afforded me life-changing opportunities to grow as a person and as a professional. Video editing and cinematography became my focus. I have 7 years of experience conceptualizing, storyboarding, shooting, and editing short-form video content for social media and television broadcast. I’ve created content and managed media production teams for a European contingent of 500 thousand military personnel. I’ve created over 100 videos in my career and have individually increased my organizations’ social media interactions by 500%. I specialize in visual storytelling and can produce a video product from end-to-end. I work with with light kits, various camera brands and setups, and Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis.
